May Day

My poem titled ‘May Day’, Tribute to Vincent vangogh’s famous painting ‘Potato Eaters’—this painting focuses on the peasants  who after working for the entire day in the field are having hot roasted potatoes, basically what they reaped is their meal. The legendary painter has paid attention to this attribute of the peasant class and the way they lead their lives, ie, with simplicity and hard work. With city life killing our intimacy with the nature, I found this painting immensely inspiring not just for me but also for the others.
